  This branch is expected to bring some changes that will no longer be directly compatible with Seditio (though, migration will be still possible all the time). This branch is about changing the CMS structure a bit, which means:

  • Clear distinction between Modules and Plugins.
  • Improvements in Plugin support such as: multiple selectable hooks, auto tag exporters, etc.
  • Module creation and maintenance made easy: module API and module management.
  • Moving such mandatory parts of the core as Forums, Polls and PFS into optional modules.
  • New comments and ratings plugin.
  • New event-driven cache subsystem with persistent global storage and multiple low-level drivers support.
  • More AJAX built-in: AJAX mode of request handling (optional to the traditional mode) and core support for AJAX-driven skins.
  • New logo and default skin.
